Night Patrol

Outdoors - Night (new moon recommended)

Equipment: flourescent cards, bright flashlight or car headlamp

Formation: wide area at campground

Preparation: Observation points are set out by placing flourescent cards on trees or poles. The points are marked on a map which is given to each patrol.


Patrols must set out and find each observation point without being detected.
The Scoutmasters and SPL are the enemy and have flashlights and car headlamps.
If the Scoutmasters “flash” a patrol, that patrol is eliminated.
The patrol which reaches all the observation points and returns to camp without being eliminated is the winner.
